About Us

Our Greenwich studio has been providing a uniquely fun experience and world-class photography since 2007.

All our sessions are relaxed and enjoyable for the whole family, capturing precious moments and your true personalities. Whether you are interested in natural, black and white images, or something entirely different and imaginative, our team transforms conventional portraiture into something spontaneous and memorable. What’s more, we create truly invaluable works of personal art for your home, with exclusive products to suit all tastes and décors, all custom designed and fully framed.

RICHARD
Studio Director

Richard is originally from South Africa, he lived in several countries before he found his home in the US. Both his creative and entrepreneurial spirit developed early when at 5 years old he would trade drawings he did of Superman for other kids’ candy.

Trained as a fine art painter and sculptor, Richard began his photography career as a portrait photographer and Art Director before opening Venture Studios in New Jersey in 2018. When he’s not in the studio, he can be found tearing around the North East on his Harley or painting in his home studio.

Richard’s main passion in life, however, is his energetic young daughters who keep him on his toes (Which are currently painted gold from Daddy Daughter Day!). He knows all the words to ‘Let it go’ and most recently became the proud father of a 7 year old ‘Swiftie’.

IOLANDA
Diary Manager

Iolanda Covello has been a key part of Venture Greenwich for five years, where she brings her passion for reconnecting with clients to the forefront of her work. Originally from Greenwich area. Iolanda love for travel often takes her back to visit family and friends across the continent, blending her professional life with personal adventures.

Her creative journey is deeply intertwined with her love for music and exploration of new places. When she’s not at the studio, you might find Iolanda attending a live music event or discovering hidden gems in various cities.

Despite her busy schedule, Iolanda’s main joy in life is the vibrant connections she maintains, both professionally and personally. She infuses her work with the same energy and enthusiasm that she brings to her travels and her music.
